Published on

AI paraphrasing tools have become indispensable for students, writers, and professionals. They promise to refine content, improve clarity, and help avoid plagiarism. But do they sound natural? Can they truly write like a human?

In this interactive blind test, we're putting three AI writing assistants head-to-head: Grammarly, QuillBot, and our brand-new tool, VerbEdit. Unlike the industry giants, VerbEdit is a fresh AI Content Rewriting Tool we’ve built to help you write clearer, more polished content.

You'll see the same sentence rewritten by each platform. Your challenge is to guess which tool wrote which version — and discover whether the newest AI sentence rewriter can stand toe-to-toe with the leaders in 2025. Get ready to test your instincts and see which AI writing assistant delivers the most professional, human-like results.

Test Methodology & Fair Comparison Settings

To ensure a fair and unbiased comparison, all outputs were generated using standardized settings. For QuillBot and VerbEdit, the Standard style mode was used. Since Grammarly doesn't have distinct modes, we used its default AI rewriting function.

We used the default synonym level across all platforms. Crucially, each sentence was processed only once. There was no cherry-picking, no manual editing, and no re-rolling for a "better" result. What you see is the raw, first-attempt output from each AI.
