This Privacy Notice for VerbEdit ("the Service") describes how and why information is processed when you use the Services. This applies when you visit our website, use our AI tools, or create an account.

How long is your information kept? Input text (for paraphrasing/summarizing) is processed in real-time and immediately discarded; it is never saved. If you create an account, your account information is retained as long as your account is active.

Is your information shared? Your input text is sent to our AI provider to generate results. Anonymized data is shared with analytics and advertising partners.

1. WHAT INFORMATION IS PROCESSED?

Account Information

If you choose to register for an account, we collect:

  • Email Address: Required to log you in and recover your account.
  • Password: Stored in a securely encrypted format.
  • Authentication Data: If you use "Continue with Google," we receive your email and basic profile info from Google.

Text You Provide for Processing

The text you type or paste into the input fields of our tools (e.g., the Paraphraser) is processed solely to generate the output. It is not linked to your user account profile in our database.

Information Collected Automatically

This site uses third-party analytics and advertising services that automatically collect non-personal technical information via cookies, such as your IP address and browser type.

2. HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS HANDLED AND RETAINED

Text Inputs (Zero Retention)

When you use a tool like the Paraphraser:

  1. Your text is sent securely to our AI provider.
  2. The AI generates the response.
  3. The text is immediately discarded. We do not save, log, or train models on your input text.

Account Data

Your account information (email/password) is retained in our secure database for as long as your account remains active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

3. THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES

Our writing tools are powered by a third-party AI model. Your text is securely processed on this provider's infrastructure to generate the output. Per our agreement, the provider does not save your text or use it for any other purpose.

4. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING

We use cookies for:

  • Essential Functions: Handling your login session and preferences.
  • Analytics (GA4): Understanding site traffic.
  • Advertising: Showing relevant ads to support the free service.

You can manage your cookie preferences using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.

5. INFORMATION SECURITY

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and salted before storage. However, no internet service is 100% secure, so please protect your credentials.

6. INFORMATION FROM MINORS

This Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information (such as account data) from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
