Refund & Cancellation Policy

At VerbEdit, we strive to provide the best AI-powered writing assistance. We believe in our product, but we also understand that it might not be the perfect fit for everyone. Our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to understand.

1. Free Trial Period

All paid plans (Student and Professional) come with a 7-day free trial. During this period:

  • You will have full access to the features of your selected plan.
  • You can cancel at any time within these 7 days without being charged.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected payment method will be automatically charged for the upcoming billing cycle.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Annual Plans)

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all Annual Plans. If you are not satisfied with VerbEdit within the first 30 days of your annual subscription purchase, you can request a full refund.

To request a refund under this guarantee:

  • Contact our support team at support@verbedit.com.
  • Provide your account email address and transaction ID.
  • No detailed explanation is required, though feedback is appreciated.

3. Monthly Plans

For Monthly Plans, payments are generally non-refundable once the 7-day free trial has passed. Since the service is provided on a month-to-month basis:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing.
  • You will retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • We do not offer prorated refunds for partially used months.

Exception: If you were charged due to a technical error or believe you have a valid exception (e.g., you cancelled before the trial ended but were still charged), please contact support immediately.

4. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your dashboard:

  1. Log in to your VerbEdit account.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings > Billing.
  3. Click on Cancel Subscription.

Upon cancellation, your account will downgrade to the "Free Forever" plan at the end of your current paid term. Your data and saved documents will remain accessible subject to the storage limits of the Free plan.

5. Processing Refunds

Once a refund is approved by our support team:

  • It will be processed immediately on our end.
  • Funds typically appear in your bank account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

6. Enterprise Plans

Refund and cancellation terms for Enterprise customers are governed by the specific Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed by your organization. Please refer to your contract or contact your dedicated account manager for details.
